The Daily Drawing Project

On January 1st, I sat down and drew a leftover balloon from our New Year’s Eve party that made me feel hopeful for 2026. I decided right then to challenge myself to do a drawing every day.

As the days went on, my sketchbook became a diary of my ordinary days. I drew my kids' toys scattered on the floor, the meals I was eating, and sometimes just random things I had taken pictures of in the past, like a snake we saw at the zoo.

Sticking with it was really hard. Some days I did not want to draw at all, but I learned that sometimes the best things come from pushing forward even when it’s not perfect.

While I was sharing these, people started asking for them, and I'm so excited to finally offer these illustrations for purchase! Because they started in my sketchbook, I wanted the prints to look like the original pages. They are printed on extremely high-quality Arches Aquarelle Rag paper with zero glare. When the test prints arrived, I was so excited because it looks like I literally drew the ink directly onto the page.

Thank you all for believing in this journey and pushing me to share it.

Please enjoy my January selections!
